Commercial Content & Partnership Guidelines
At Publish Tower, we believe in creative partnerships built on clarity, respect, and trust.
We collaborate with brands, institutions, and agencies across cultures and languages. These guidelines outline our approach to advertising, sponsored content, and affiliate partnerships — with a focus on transparency, editorial integrity, and reader trust.

1. Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made without influence from advertisers or commercial partners. Our journalistic voice remains autonomous across all platforms, formats, and languages. No paid collaboration can dictate editorial content, tone, or coverage.
2. Clear Labeling
We always disclose commercial content. Whether it’s a sponsored article, affiliate link, or display ad, we apply visible labels such as:
- Sponsored
- Advertisement
- Advertorial
- Presented by [Partner Name]
- Paid partnership with [Brand Name]
Our goal is to ensure every reader understands what is editorial and what is paid for.
3. Sponsored Content
Sponsored content may be developed by our internal team or supplied by the partner. Regardless of origin, it must meet our standards for quality, relevance, and compliance with applicable laws.
We reserve the right to review, edit, or decline content that does not align with our values or brand.
4. Display Advertising
Traditional ad formats (e.g. banners, native units, newsletter placements) must also meet basic content and design standards. All such placements are clearly marked and visually separated from editorial content.
5. Affiliate Partnerships
In some cases, our editorial or commercial content may include affiliate links to products or services. If a reader makes a purchase through such a link, Publish Tower may earn a commission – at no cost to the reader.
Affiliate content follows the same standards as all commercial material and is transparently labeled. In editorial formats, we include a clear note such as:
“This article contains affiliate links. If you buy something through these links, Publish Tower may earn a commission.”
This disclosure appears near the top of the article and/or next to the relevant section, depending on format.
6. Ownership & Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Publish Tower retains full ownership of any content it creates for commercial partnerships. Partners may not reuse, adapt, or redistribute our content without prior permission.
7. Respect for the Reader
We prioritise the reader’s trust. That means:
- No misleading or hidden advertising.
- No commercial influence on editorial decisions.
- No partnerships that conflict with our cultural values or editorial principles.
8. Creative Collaboration

9. Non-Standard Partnerships
For formats not explicitly described here – including white-label content, co-branded series, or experimental collaborations – we evaluate on a case-by-case basis. Any such project must meet our standards for transparency, brand alignment, and editorial independence.
